PHILIP KAMRASS/ALBANY TIMES UNIONSCHENECTADY — Without a building to call its own, the Edison Tech Center, an engineering educational center and museum that was founded in Schenectady in 2001, has been operating virtually the past five years.
But that hasn’t stopped the local non-profit — which was originally named the Edison Exploratorium because of its informal ties and collection of artifacts from General Electric Co. — from achieving its educational mission, says Craig Cantello, the tech center’s manager.
