Climate summit coming to Colchester this weekend

YOUNG people from across Essex have been channeling their inner Greta Thunberg in a bid to tackle the climate crisis.

The Climate Emergency Youth Summit was hailed a huge success after its first event.

And now it is back to give youngsters a chance to make a difference.

The project provides a chance for passionate, Essex-based young people, aged between 14, to 25, to be involved.

Attendees will be able to share their ideas about nature, culture and the environment.

The event, supported by Arts Council England, Essex County Council, and EAFESTIVAL, was set up by Essex Book Festival in 2020, to provide young people with a platform to share their thoughts, fears and ideas about climate change.
