Maya Angelou once said, “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” Writing is a therapeutic, productive way to share our stories, feelings, hopes, and dreams. You don’t need much to write – a pen, paper, a little bit of time, and of course, your ideas.
November is PEN-demonium! month at the Estes Valley Library. As part of this celebration of writing, the Library will be hosting numerous programs for patrons of all ages to get inspired about the written word. Children, tweens and teens, and adults are invited to attend.
On November 5, make an eco-friendly pen out of old newspaper. Then, craft a card to send to a loved one. This is a perfect way to catch up on your thank-you notes or your general correspondence.
