Many local cities are spreading joy early this year with tree lightings, festivals and parades. Here are some events happening in the Killeen-Fort Cavazos area.
The city of Harker Heights Parks and Recreation Department will also host the annual Frost Fest on Dec. 8 and 9, from 5-8 p.m. each day, at the Harker Heights Community Park, 1501 E. Farm-to-Market 2410.
Residents can bring their family and friends to shop with the vendors at the Holiday Farmers Market or try their creativity with the Mobile Makerspace crafts at Santa’s Workshop with help from the Stewart C. Meyer Harker Heights Public Library.
