There’s a lot to do and see as part of the Center Line Independence Festival. Bands, food trucks, inflatables, a carnival, magic and games, and a petting zoo will come to Memorial Park, 25355 Lawrence Ave., June 2-4. The carnival will open at 3 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. Saturday and noon Sunday. Fireworks will light up the sky at dusk June 3.
