The Rotary Clubs of Midland are hosting a free Community & Connections Event on Thursday, June 8 in Grove Park in Midtown Midland.
This event will take place from 3 to 6:30 p.m. It is open to all ages, offering two sessions (of the same content) with activities tailored to age 5 and above.
Noted facilitators include De’Ondre Hogan, Midland Public Schools diversity director; Erin Patrice, founder of The Breaking Bread Village; Gina Wilson from the Cultural Awareness Coalition; and Ken Jolly, history professor and Black Studies degree advisor for Saginaw Valley State University.
