Pizza and Rockabilly celebrated also with DJ’s spinning through a 45′s record collection

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Maker Park Radio celebrates four years of music and concerts on Saturday, July 11 with a special presentation. The Stapleton-based streaming station hosts an evening celebrating the roots of rock and roll.

The event runs from 5 p.m.to 9:30 p.m. and costs $5, a suggested donation. Guests under 18 years old are admitted with no charge.

Presenters include Jittery Jack with Amy Griffin on Guitar from Massachusetts with rockabilly. Eli “Paperboy” Reed from Brooklyn, will do a solo set of soul and blues reminiscent of Wilson Pickett and Otis Redding.

Maker Park Radio DJs Tom Ferrie and Kitty The Disc Jockey will be spinning their collection of 45′s on Saturday.

A dozen local vendors will sell crafts. Seppe Pizza Bar, also of Stapleton, will vend their pizza and other Italian bites. Maker Park Radio will have a table with some vinyl records to buy, and photographer…
