Homeschooling has many advantages, but socializing with peers can be tricky. The Stewart C. Meyer Harker Heights Public Library started two new events to give local homeschoolers an easy opportunity to connect with others and make new friends in the area.
Library volunteer Lindsay Kuniyuki initiated the new homeschooling meetup and started at the end of August. Meetings take place every last Wednesday of the month from 1 to 3 p.m.
