Auditions for Spartanburg Youth Theatre’s performance of Disney’s “The Lion King Jr.” are 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Oct 23 and 25 at Chapman Cultural Center. Auditionees should only audition one of the two nights and may arrive at any time during the 2-hour block. SYT welcomes youth in grade 3 – 12 to audition. OctoberArt Classes are offered at the Spartanburg Art Museum. Classes include Design and Build for ages 10 – 14, Awesome Animals for ages 6 – 9, Cubism for Kids for ages 6 – 10, and Spooky Crafts for ages 6 – 9. For details and registration, visit spartanburgartmuseum.org.
