It has been a busy period at Bangor University, with the work and studies in full flow, and a number of exciting developments and events as we leave winter and look towards spring.
At the beginning of the year, the University’s new Community Collaboration Fund opened. The fund has been established to encourage civic engagement activities with external partners. Six proposals were successful in the first call. We look forward to seeing these projects develop and share further information about them over the coming months, with the second call being launched in April/May.
In March, a productive meeting of the University’s Community Board was held. A range of matters were discussed of relevance to the University and external partners in Bangor and beyond. The annual Varsity event was also held in March, with Bangor University competing with Aberystwyth University in…
