
WAUKESHA – Students at Hadfield Elementary will get to build, create and problem solve in a brand-new MakerSpace this school year.
This summer, the room was reworked and redecorated into a place where students can go and explore their passions or use their creative skills in an extension of a classroom project.
According to Principal Alan Busch, construction on the room occurred throughout the summer and even included help from GE employees. Now that it’s finished, the possibilities are endless of what students might create.
“Kind of a general use of it is for students to create and design something that they are passionate about,” said Laura Busch, technology integration coach at Hadfield Elementary.
