Reaching beyond recycling with a passionate effort to make Earth a greener place could earn local environmental activists an award this April.
The St. Clair County Earth Fair is seeking nominations for its Green Guardian Award, dedicated to recognizing exceptional protectors of air, land and water. The award was first established in 2017.
“We just wanted to give people a shout out, a recognition of what they are doing to make others aware of what they are doing in our county and surrounding counties,” Earth Fair Committee President Sarah Nelson said.
