When Winslow Middle Schooler Richard Manuel changes classes, he likes to peek in into the courtyard and check on his kids in the nursery.

Winslow Middle School recently earned the U.S. Department of Education’s Green Ribbon designation for a project started in 2017 to conserve energy, recyle and nurture its grounds including a courtyard garden cared for by staff and students. May 6, 2021.
