Students of the American International School of Kingston’s (AISK) will now have the use of collaborative creative spaces outside of the traditional classrooms.
Dubbed, MakerSpace, the area will enable the students to create, explore and experience experimental learning outside of traditional classroom. MakerSpacces are designed to create and foster how children think versus what they are taught to think, in aid of developing growth mindset.
AISK’s board of Trustees along with teachers, staff members and parents gathered in commemoration of the official opening of the school’s state- of-the-art MakerSpace, contributed by the Musson Foundation last week.
