The Green Free Library’s weekly February program, Lego Mania, has provided a free opportunity for all ages to beat the winter blues by socializing and using their creativity and STEM skills to build Lego masterpieces every Monday night.
“I wanted to do something to kind of beat the winter blues,” said Anita Getty, Assistant Library Director and Program Director of the Green Free Library. “And we have all these Legos, so why not do something?”
Lego Mania nights have been well attended and loved by library patrons. On the first night of Lego Mania, there were 22 attendees — 5 parents and 17 kids — and on the second night, there were 18 attendees.
