EDWARDSVILLE — Community members can visit with and hear from the new editor of the Edwardsville Intelligencer on Thursday evening.
Penny Weaver, who started Feb. 6 as the editor of the Intelligencer, will be on hand at the Edwardsville Public Library to discuss the status of local media in the 21st century and her enthusiasm for this community.
The library, 112 S. Kansas St., will host the “Meet the Editor” event starting at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 25.
A question-and-answer period will follow Weaver’s remarks.
