1. Attend a Civil War reenactment

Pinecrest Historical Village is transforming into a Civil War encampment this weekend for Manitowoc County Historical Society’s Civil War Remembered event.

From 2 to 8 p.m. Sept. 23 and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 24, you can learn about the history of this time period as reenactors stage a battle complete with canons and infantry.
