LUDLOW – The Ludlow Cultural Council has awarded more than $23,000 through its 2023 grant cycle.
The council voted at their Nov. 28 meeting to decide which projects to fund.
The funding will support 30 artists and organizations as they educate, entertain, and enrich the lives of Ludlow residents.
Ludlow Cultural Council Chair Michelle Goncalves said, “We wanted to support activities that would appeal to the entire town.”
“Our 2023 grants include a travelling makerspace and balloon magic for children, a cooking and food preservation series for adults, and multiple musical performances geared toward seniors, among many other exciting activities. Overall, we hope they will provide opportunities for residents to come together and promote the cultural vitality of our town.” Goncalves added.
