Penny Weaver/The IntelligencerEDWARDSVILLE — Music will be in the air Thursday and the public is welcome to enjoy the sound at no charge as the Edwardsville Municipal Band plays.
Starting at 8 p.m at City Park, 101 S. Buchanan St., Edwardsville, the band will take to the bandstand as part of its 138th season.
The band includes about 60 members and is a musical tradition in Edwardsville that dates back to the late 1800s.
