Berks Launchbox Offering New Design Classes in May

The Berks LaunchBox is offering a new 4-week class starting this week to teach the fundamentals of CAD, as well as a class on how to design and print your own stickers!

 

Introduction to Tinkercad

Learn the easy-to-use, web-based 3D modeling software, Tinkercad!

You will learn the first steps to building your idea into a computer aided design (CAD) that will allow you to eventually 3D print a prototype (3D printing is not part of this class). This course will begin with the basics of CAD design including:

  • Parametric Modeling Fundamentals
  • Constructive Solid Geometry Concepts
  • Geometric Construction Tools
  • Geometric Relations Fundamentals

Following each in-class session filled with hands-on examples, you will have a project to work on from home until the next class session. This class will be held in-person with small group sessions at the Berks LaunchBox. Masks and social distancing will be…
