cardboard arcade
NORTHAMPTON — The fourth and fifth grade students at Lander-Grinspoon Academy have created a cardboard arcade that will be open for the students and parents to come and win prizes.
This year’s fourth grade game themes are of the National Parks, which is part of a recent project that the students just completed, called “See The USA.”
The fifth graders have joined in with their knowledge from last year and are working as mentors to the fourth grade students, as they complete games as well. There will be cardboard mazes, skee-ball, foosball, pinball machines, corn hole, golf and more.
Students were inspired by the video Caine’s Arcade.
This has become an annual project for the end of school with fourth grade teacher, Laurie White and is being constructed in the school’s art room and makerspace with the direction of teacher…
