Vermont’s restaurants, bars and social clubs will be open from Saturday to 10 pm, Governor Phil Scott announced on Friday.
Scott said he would lift the stay-at-home order as COVID-19 vaccination rates for 18-29 year-olds rose from less than 30% to more than 50% last month. He said Vermont is 80% of the target population (12). He said he hopes to reach the age of (aged) and receive at least one dose by next week. At that point, he lifts the remaining pandemic-related restrictions. As of Thursday, 77% of qualified Vermonts were vaccinated, he said.
