
LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — The St. Mary’s County Library is calling on local artists to help bring creativity and innovation to life through a new mural project inside the Lexington Park Library’s makerspace.
The library has issued a request for proposals inviting artists from St. Mary’s, Calvert and Charles counties to submit concepts for a mural that will serve as a visual centerpiece in the newly developed space.
Selected finalists will receive a $100 stipend to develop design concepts, and the artist ultimately chosen for the project will be awarded $1,500 to complete the mural, covering all materials, supplies and related costs.
