When people think about summer camps, they often picture crafts, games, and outdoor activities. But at the Library, summer can also be a time to explore creativity through technology. This year, Caledon Public Library is partnering with the Town of Caledon to offer two Makerspace Camps designed especially for tweens who are curious about designing, building, and bringing their ideas to life.
For slightly older tweens, Maker to Market: Build Your Big Idea (ages 10–14) focuses on turning creative ideas into products. Participants will design and produce items such as vinyl decals, engraved objects created with a laser cutter, or other small maker projects.
