ELLSWORTH – Spring is on the way, and the Ellsworth Public Library Makerspace is celebrating with a community Plant Swap at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 18. This popular event invites plant lovers of all experience levels to gather, share and grow together.
Now is an ideal time to begin propagating your houseplants so they’re ready for swapping in March. Whether you’re snipping cuttings, dividing mature plants, or experimenting with something new, preparing ahead gives your plants time to root and thrive. It’s also a great opportunity to expand your own collection by trading with others.
Participants are encouraged to bring healthy potted plants or cuttings to exchange. Houseplants, herbs, and flowering plants are all welcome. The swap offers a fun, affordable way to refresh your indoor greenery and discover new varieties.
