Vienna’s newest library set to open its doors in 2021
It will be the 4th largest library in the Austrian capital
The year 2021 brings Vienna a new modern library. Construction work on the Seestadt library in Aspern in the Donaustadt is in full swing, and the opening is scheduled for this autumn. The new library will be located in the “Quartier am Seebogen” in the immediate vicinity of the Seestadt U2 station and the new education campus.
With its 550m² it will be the fourth largest library location in Vienna. It will be barrier-free and designed according to the latest standards for a library – as a meeting place and an extended living room. This includes spacious rooms that invite you to linger and relax, extensive equipment with WiFi, study and computer workstations.
