AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Public Library released details on social media about its MakerSpace “Stitches for Warmth” project, which will allow the community to knit items like beanies and scarves to give back to the community through the end of the year.
“So, we are going to be collecting hand knitted or hand crocheted items from the community all throughout November and December. And then they will put those in those kits and give it out to those who need it the most within our area. And that’s basically “Stitches for Warmth this year,” said MakerSpace coordinator Joanna Schoen.
