A host of events are planned for this year’s Ontario Public Libraries Week locally
On a decorative tree in a main room, residents are writing anonymous notes, listing how the library has helped them grow.
“I love the library,” one note reads. “The librarians are so kind and helpful!”
Ontario Public Library Week is up and going and residents are celebrating Stratford Public Library (SPL) and the work of staff.
“Libraries level the playing field by providing access to all,” explained SPL CEO Krista Robinson. “They provide space where anyone, regardless of their economic status, can gather to learn, share, work, reflect, study, collaborate and socialize – all free of charge.”
