LIVERMORE, CA — Firefighters worked quickly Sunday night to attack a fire that threatened a Livermore commercial building.
The blaze was reported around 9:20 p.m. in the 6800 block of Brisa Street. Firefighters arrived to discover a pile of wooden pallets and cardboard ablaze at a cardboard manufacturing business, said Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Chief Joe Testa in an email.
Firefighters brought the fire under control in a half-hour and extinguished it four hours later, Testa said. Alameda County Fire assisted LPFD.
Employees were at the building when the fire erupted and no injuries were reported, he said. The business had intended to ship the pile out.
The cause remains under investigation.
