As seen in Lowell’s revitalization over the past decade or so, Fitchburg is starting to witness an artistic renewal with the Fitchburg Arts Community project, which will produce 68 units of artist-preference affordable housing, studio space, and gallery space.
An artists’ district has already proven its worth in one former mill town turned Gateway City, and now Fitchburg is well on its way to fulfilling a similar blueprint.
That’s what construction on the Fitchburg Arts Community project represents, as it moves toward its late 2024 or early 2025 completion date.
