Located on the second floor of Dearborn’s Henry Ford Centennial Library (HFCL) is a welcome new addition.
Inspired by the Makers Faire movement of the early 2000s, SparkLab offers a chance for library members to broaden their creative horizons—be they hobbyists, entrepreneurs or just inquisitive people that like to work with their hands.
At the helm of this productive space is HFCL’s Adult Services Supervisor Rebecca Hermen. It was her vision and perseverance that provided the impetus for this program. “SparkLab has only been open since July 5 of this year,” Hermen said….
