Celebrate Local shows diversity of West Alabama businesses

More than 40 retailers and vendors from across West Alabama will showcase their products during Celebrate Local in Tuscaloosa.

The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama will host the sixth annual event from 11:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Tuscaloosa River Market, 1900 Jack Warner Parkway.

The event, which this year will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, allows local merchants to showcase their goods to the public.

The event will be free and open to the public.

Attendees can shop for a variety of items including clothing, jewelry, home décor, art, gifts and more. Several restaurants will also be on hand to offer samples of their most popular entrees. 

“We’re fortunate to have a wide variety of restaurants, retailers and boutiques in our community, and we’d like to invite everyone to come by and see what West Alabama has to offer,” said Alicia Gregory, who serves as the Chamber’s senior director of programs and operations.
