On Saturday, booths and activity stations staffed by 60 nonprofit organizations filled Main Street Plaza and its adjoining pocket park for the ninth annual Give Grandly, the festival of giving put on by the Grant County Community Foundation each spring. In addition to donations that are accepted online for most of the month — ending May 22 this year — the centerpiece of the fundraiser is the in-person event, where donors and the public can wander from booth to booth, learning about area causes and organizations.
The day opened with around $50,000 in donations already in the bank, and closed with more than $100,000 raised. Much of the money…
