On Saturday morning, the Woodland Public Library was one of the key places to be around town when cars, hearses, busses, trucks, fire engines, and various other large vehicles spaced themselves out the parking lot at 250 First St. for the library’s Read, Rubmble and Rev event.
The free event, formerly called Touch-A-Truck, enthralled kids and adults alike from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., giving everyone in attendance the chance to learn and interact with vehicles, including the Woodland Police and Fire Department, Waste Management, the city of Woodland’s utility vehicles, Yolo County Transportation and a few others.
