A Morristown woman has been charged with second-degree aggravated assault for allegedly driving her vehicle into a pedestrian during a dispute on Clyde Potts Drive earlier this month.
The pedestrian, fearing she would be struck a second time as the driver backed toward her, punched out the vehicle’s rear window, police reported.
Mesha L. Wiggins, 41, could face up to 10 years in prison and $150,000 in fines if convicted of the crime, which authorities say occurred just before 10 pm on April 12, 2023, a Wednesday.
The pedestrian, identified only as K.M., complained of pain to her right shoulder and neck, and scratches to her right arm, according to a report by Morristown Police Officer Michael Alberto.
