BETHEL — As the conflict in Ukraine nears the half-year mark, Broken Symmetry has decided to help those affected by the ongoing Russian invasion by doing what it does best: brewing beer.
Owner and head brewer Chris Sanzeni said the brewery on Depot Place is no stranger to charitable efforts.
“We try to be part of the community and do what we can when we can,” he said. “That’s important to us.”
When the crisis in Ukraine occurred, Sanzeni said he decided to take one of Broken Symmetry’s previous charitable brews called Allegiance IPA and create a “freedom edition” to help support the Ukrainian people during their fight against Russia.
