A $9.5 million contract to build a new Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library System was awarded April 5 to the lowest qualified bidder, Newport Construction Management of Pennsauken, the Ocean County Board of Commissioners has announced.
Board Director and OCL liaison Joseph Vicari said the new library branch “supports the area’s population growth.”
For the project, the county got a grant of almost $5 million from the New Jersey State Library Construction Bond Act, which allocated $37 million to 36 library projects from 13 counties across the state. Stafford Township will pay its $4.6 million share of the…
