KOCHVILLE TWP, MI– Teachers, administrators, I.T. specialists and a roster of STEM educators from across mid-Michigan have been honored for their work to advance learning.
Saginaw Valley State University, in partnership with the MiSTEM Network – East Central Michigan Region, has recognized 20 STEM professionals for their contributions to STEM education across the region.
A release by SVSU said that the individuals, representing schools in seven Michigan counties, were honored as “STEM Stars” at a STEM teachers dinner hosted by the university on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
In recognition of their work, the release said each honoree received a $250 award to enhance STEM education in their classroom or program, as well as 3-D printed STEM Stars keepsakes designed by SVSU’s Cardinal Solutions and produced by the university’s independent testing laboratory.
