The Algonac Middle School RoboRats team has seen success this season and participated in the FIRST Michigan First Tech Challenge State Championship.
The RoboRats are a 12-student First Tech Challenge team comprised of seventh- and eighth-graders. The team is broken up into multiple sub-teams, including build, programming and business, said Phil Clark, who is the RoboRats lead coach and programming mentor and Full Metal Muskrats programming mentor.
