WESTLAKE, Ohio – Members of the Westlake Historical Society want to continue a tradition begun more than a decade ago by finding sponsors for the battery-operated candle lights in each window of the Clague House Museum, 1371 Clague Road, Westlake, and the historic Lily Weston House, 27946 Center Ridge Road, Westlake.
The sponsors would help defray costs for lights in each of the 26 windows in the Clague House and the 24 windows in the Lily Weston House and the two AA batteries to power them. Fire department safety regulations require battery-operated candles for the windows in each historic structure.
Each candle has a sensor for dusk to dawn burning time and the batteries last about two months.
