The Magnolia and Tomball education foundations collectively awarded over $160,000 in grants to teachers to fund projects in their classrooms.
In Tomball ISD, the Tomball Education Foundation awarded 29 grants totaling $100,948 to educators on 15 of the district’s campuses and its central office department, according to a Feb. 13 news release.
Some of the projects set to be funded by the grants include a book vending machine at Rosehill Elementary, 3D printers in the art classrooms at Oakcrest Intermediate School and a wind tunnel system to help students learn aerospace engineering at Tomball Memorial High School.
Since 2018, the TEF has awarded over $270,000 in grants to Tomball ISD employees, according to the news release.
