The second annual Maker Show, presented by the Fab Lab Permian Basin at Odessa College, will hold a closing reception at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Phillips Goff Gallery in Sedate Hall and announce the winners of this year’s exhibition.
“The exhibit showcases users and items of the Fab Lab and demonstrates the possibilities of beginner to advanced creative journeys. We had almost twice as many entries this year as we did for the first Maker Show last year. This year, we had 49 entries –– 27 individuals submitted their work, various individuals also submitted multiple entries, and some makers worked collaboratively on entries,” Fab Lab Director Adriana Moreno said in a news release.
