ROCKLAND — The Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA), 21 Winter St., offers two art-making opportunities this upcoming week.
Learn a new process, work on an independent project, or play with materials with artists of all abilities at this month’s Adult Makerspace, Sunday, Feb. 19, from 10 a.m. to noon. Teaching artist Jennifer Peppe will share her work and guide attendees in making pet portraits. Bring a photo of your pet for reference. Registration costs a sliding scale of $5 to $15, which includes a plus one and free coffee provided by Rock City.
