SYDNEY, N.S. —
At 15 years of age, Angus Campbell is already an old pro when it comes to Lego robotics.
His interest in the hobby was triggered a few years ago. While Campbell has had a longstanding fascination with Legos, he now uses the building blocks to perform detailed maneuvers on a tabletop course designed with obstacles.
Lego robotics involves programming a Lego creation using software, so it does Campbell’s bidding.
There are competitions that he, and his fellow Lego robotics engineers, partake in.
He is one of the older students working out of the Brilliant Labs workshop at the Nova Scotia Power Makerspace in Sydney. He’d like his peers to know it’s still cool to play with Legos.
