Brock students have a chance to share their research on a national scale through three upcoming competitions.
Two of Brock’s major funders — the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) — are hosting video and photo contests to highlight student work.
NSERC’s Science, Action! offers graduate students working with a professor who holds, or has held, an NSERC grant to film or animate short, creative videos that tell a simple story about fascinating science. The video must show the benefits of research in the natural sciences and engineering fields and make the connection between basic sciences and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
