With the goal of turning “ideas into reality,” National Park College continues to offer students and the community an on-campus service called Makerspace, located on the first floor of the Gerald Fisher Campus Center.
As a publicly accessible workshop equipped with tools, equipment and resources for a wide variety of projects, program specialist Joel Rush said it is all about “enabling creative projects.”
“People just come in and we help them however we can to enable their big idea,” he said.
Program coordinator Michael Karr said they work with several different groups, including local high school students, college students, and local business people.
