COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority and Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch are launching a crowdfunding campaign today to benefit Columbus Propeller Inc.
If the crowdfunding campaign reaches its goal of raising $50,000 by Jan. 15, the project will receive a matching grant as part of the IHCDA’s CreatINg Places program.
Funds from this campaign will be used to transform the exterior of a 9000-square foot former engine test site on the Columbus AirPark campus into a community innovation center and makerspace that fosters STEM education and training, career exploration and entrepreneurship. Its labs are outfitted for metalworking, 3D printing, woodworking, robotics and electronics.
