Some may recognize the name Connor McGinn for the ceramic dinnerware he creates for local restaurants and homes. He’s also the founding force behind Makers Central in Tarrytown, a creative space where makers can practice their trade, collaborate and gain insight into the industry.
“There are a lot of places that offer teaching, but not a lot of places where you can just create,” McGinn said. “So our thought is to have this fill that missing niche.”
McGinn came up with Makers Central after outgrowing his studio in Port Chester. The idea was to form a new business venture that could combine his passion with that of others.
