The Generator art and maker space has found a new, albeit temporary, home.
Reno Public Market, Reno’s former Shoppers Square, has offered its space as a temporary home to The Generator, according to a press release late last week.
The Generator, where local and international artists have created large-scale and Burning Man art since 2013, was located at 1240 Icehouse Ave. in Sparks until this past weekend.
The arts and maker space was forced to move after the landlords of the previous warehouse location placed the more than 35,000 square-foot property up for sale. The Generator will be in place at Reno Public Market by September 1.
