A town centre venue in Margate, housing fledgling retailers, is fully let for the first time after signing up a vintage store.
On Saturday (July 3), Pie in the Sky vintage emporium will join 11 other start-ups at UpMargate in The Centre.
Retail pods are let on an affordable, all-inclusive monthly contract, making them suitable for artists, craftspeople and designers as well.
Entrepreneurs can try their first bricks and mortar selling space – and it makes good use of the large vacated store.
UpMargate already houses an art studio, sportswear shop, vintage furniture seller and handmade bags and clothes.
Newcomer Pie in the Sky will be selling high quality vintage and retro clothing, accessories and gifts primarily inspired by culture from the 1960s to 1980s.
